The Land of the Osages Research Center design was a unique opportunity for one of my Master’s level courses, Ecological Principles of Agroforestry. For this project, I was challenged with organizing several designs for multiple sites on a 550 acre site. I opted to present these designs through a Landscape Architectural style. The pinnacle of this design is the landscaping done around the Conference Center. I opted to create a variety of spaces that would emerge visitors in different types of habitat found in South Central Missouri while integrating the production of food, herbs, and cut flowers.

The 24th Street Restoration design was completed for Pease Park in Austin, Texas. This site was selected due to an overabundance of bamboo that was encroaching from an adjacent neighbor’s yard. The park conservation team removed the bamboo and installed root barriers to prevent the spread of the bamboo’s rhizomes. I designed the habitat that would replace the bamboo.
